It’s hard to believe it’s already been a month since we kicked off the summer at the International Society of Electrophysiology and Kinesiology (ISEK) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, where we had the opportunity to contribute to the symposium 𝗘𝘅𝗼𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

A big thank to Juha-Pekka Kulmala for organizing and chairing such a great session!
Thanks to 𝗠𝗮𝘅 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 and Mika Peltoniemi, we gained valuable insights into the clinical outcomes of exoskeleton use and the challenges associated with their implementation. Our own Ivan Vujaklija and Madalina Moscu further complemented these perspectives by showcasing the engineering challenges behind developing intelligent and adaptive wearable assistive devices.

Together, the talks once again highlighted that progress in exoskeleton technology depends on close collaboration between clinicians, engineers, and researchers.

Here’s to a summer of science, collaboration, and inspiring discussions! 🚀
